Dr. Sidney Harman and Bernard Kardon founded what has now become one of the electronic industries most prestigious companies often known as harman/kardon. The evolution of this company has revolutionized the high tech audio industry.

First thing first

The first product ever produced by the masterminds behind the Harman/kardon was an FM radio. Nearly one year after the FM radio came about the brilliant duo unveiled the very first high-fidelity receiver, the Festival D1000. In 1958, 5 years after it founding Harman Kardon introduced the world’s first stereo receiver, known as the Festival TA230.

Decades of evolution

Over the years Harman Kardon unveiled multiple products including the worlds first cassette deck named the CAD5, followed by the worlds first stereo receiver infamously name The Citation, immediately thereafter was the first A/V receiver by Harman Kardon. The prestigious brand has long been respected for everything from Radios to AV receivers.

Harman Kardon proves to be on the forefront of all of the top technologies. They have perfected the art of evolution and have moved themselves into the great supplier of electronics that they are now. Harman Kardon is the main audio supplier for high end car manufacturers including BMW, Land Rover, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, SAAB, Harley-Davidson and Subaru.

Harman Kardon hasn’t stepped into Blu-ray scene until now.
